What can I expect from Promise Kids?

Promise Kids is much more than childcare. It is a place where children are loved, cared for, and taught the Bible.

A Unique Biblical Approach

One of the things that makes Promise Kids special is that our curriculum is handcrafted each week specifically for our children. It includes a song, a craft, a memory verse and lots of fun. Our ministry team receives our preaching schedule well in advance, which gives them the opportunity to develop lessons that correlate to our Sunday Sermon. allowing to connect families in further discussions beyond Sunday mornings.

Building Family

That means the whole family can go home talking about the same biblical truth.

The sermon title or Big Idea will often even appear on the children's activity or coloring page. When that page ends up on the refrigerator at home, it becomes another opportunity for the entire family to remember and talk about what they learned together.

Our curriculum is taught by a team of trained, background-checked teachers who care deeply about children and their spiritual development.

For us at Promise, knowledge of God and His word is important, but more so is the pursuit of the wisdom of God. That takes time to develop understanding through questions and study. And the questions are important, especially hard ones. We look forward to investigating the scriptures, to search out answers to life’s difficulties whether they come from a 6-year-old, 16-year-old or 60-year-old.

Meet Our Sunday School Administrator

At the heart of Promise Kids is a dedicated team of servants who love Jesus and love children. Helping lead that team is Cilia Walker, our Sunday School Administrator.

Cilia helps oversee the organization, coordination, and day-to-day needs of Promise Kids, working alongside our teachers to create a welcoming, well-prepared, and Christ-centered environment where children can learn and grow.

Her heart is to partner with parents, support our teachers, and help every child feel loved, valued, and excited about learning God's Word.

“We will not hide these truths from our children; we will tell the next generation about the glorious deeds of the LORD, about his power and his mighty wonders.”

- Psalms 78:4

New families must be present to check-in their child(ren). The child & parent will get matching tags. The child’s tag will show any allergies/special concerns from the notes you enter at registration and if the child may need assistance with diapering/toileting. Parents or guardians must show proper matching tags at pick up time. We kindly ask that you have your kids checked in before the 10:30 service starts.

Please provide your own bottles or sippy cups labeled with the child's name on it. Snacks will only be given during special occasions and allergy friendly options available. Please provide any diapers or wipes your child may need. If your child is potty training, please remember to bring an extra set of clothes.

Special Needs

Welcome, we are so glad you are here! If you are comfortable, please notify us that your child has a special need, and we will be sure to provide assistance if needed.

Safety Is Important.

Safety is also extremely important to us. Promise Church has invested in a comprehensive video security system throughout the Promise Kids area. Cameras monitor entrances, common areas, hallways, and classrooms, allowing our leadership to monitor live footage of the children's ministry environment when needed.

Cameras are positioned appropriately to protect children's privacy, including during diapering and other personal-care needs.

We can’t wait to meet your family.

We consider it a tremendous privilege when parents place their children in our care and discipleship.

Our prayer is simple: that children are safe, children are loved, children learn the Bible, and families grow together.
