Helping People
Promise isn’t just a Sunday service. Sunday mornings are important for building our family through music, biblical messages and time together in prayer and praise. To help people really follow Jesus, learn the bible and build family we need activities that are focused—by age, by life stage and by interest. We offer opportunities for both learners and teachers. Plan on taking advantage of these times to stretch your spiritual muscles and learn more about Jesus, the Bible and Family.
Sunday Mornings at 10:30am
Classes for 0-10 years old are held during the service on Sunday mornings. Children 7-10 will be with everyone for the worship music start of the service. We use a computerized check in system called ChurchTeams to securely track everyone in our Promise Kids classes. For visitors, please pre-register your family to speed up check in on Sunday morning. Trunk or Treat returns this year on October 26th from 11AM to 1PM. Please sign up to host a trunk. It's super easy and fun. Amazon even sells complete kits if you're challenged for time or creativity. Stock up on candy, add a kid friendly game and it will be fun for everyone. Let us know you're coming by registering.
Promise church is inviting everyone to join our outreach team on Saturday October 12th for a day of spiritual farming. We will be engaging our community with invitations to our services and weekly ministries as we walk the neighborhoods of St. Charles. We will meet at Promise Church at 9:00 AM for prayer, and then we will distribute maps and assign partners.
Even if you're not walking, please join us at 9:00AM for prayer.
The Women's ministry at Promise is planning an uplifting and encouraging day with featured speaker Donna Peacock. Donna, along with her husband Walter, have over 20 years' experience in ministry, notably at Medinah Baptist and Mission Church. She will be sharing from her many years of teaching and leading women in ministry and everyday life. This is a great opportunity to hear a distinguished speaker while building connections with other women. The cost is only $25 and includes lunch. Scholarships are available so don't let anything stop you from registering and attending.
